Food from Saffron is exceptional! Garlic Naan is soft and full of flavor. General Tso Cauliflower is my favorite. Spicy but not too spicy. ODS- Butter Chicken (Old Delhi Style) has a wonderful tomatoey flavor and the chicken is so tender.

Every single item I ordered was beyond delicious. The butter ODS- Butter Chicken (Old Delhi Style) has the smoky tandoor flavor and is reminiscent of how it would taste in an upscale establishment in New Delhi. It's not overly greasy or sweet. Perfect balance of all the flavors.
The Tandoori Chicken is charred outside but succulent and juicy inside. It is not overly spicy where that's the only flavor you taste. Extremely well made.
The Channa Masala tastes like what you will find at an any famous Channa Bhatura place in North India without the excessive spice and grease.
Even the raita was extremely declicous. I've never had raita like that. It almost tastes like Dahi Bhalle without the bhalle.
The food more than Justifies its price. Thank you to the staff to bring such delicious Indian food in the Bay Area.

Best Indian food I've had :) Although it is pricy, especially with the delivery fee, still definitely worth it to order once every few weeks. The butter chicken is flavorful, the sauce is rich, and you aren't overwhelmed by any single spice. The balance is perfect, and goes really well with any bread. The portion size is also optimal, with one serving of the butter chicken being more than enough for one person, if not two people (if you aren't that hungry).

Traditional Lamb Curryis dry. Not a lot of depth on the sauce. Samosa (1pc) something happened here, the Samos from Saffron were the best. And now they are not. Look the same on the outside but inside have fewer ingredients and overall something is missing from before. We use to order Samosa (1pc)and Chicken 65 from the old menu on repeat. The new Chili Chicken (gf) *NEW* is ok but not the same. First, quantity is way less maybe 1/3 to 1/4 of the quantity before and it's just not the same. I truly miss chicken 65 and the old menu samosas.

the chicken in the Saffon's Famous Butter Chicken was so so tasty, but the sauce was overly sweet and generally lacking. I was disappointed in the serving size as well considering how expensive the dishes are
