There's a reason people call this the best sandwich place in the Queens.
Everything is perfect. They use better than boars head, they're imported ingredients. You can tell. they use just the right amount of everything, including the oil and vinegar. heaping piles of meat as well.
The heros are ENORMOUS and they're real Italian bread. Don't let the people who post 2 stars and call the bread "hard" fool you. This bread is crispy like Italian bread should be, but not stale.
The portions are great. I'm a big guy and half a sandwich did me in for a while. You pay for quality in this city, and at this place you're gonna get it.

Sal, Kris and Charlie’s is by far the best deli in NYC from the size of the sandwich the bread the fresh vegetables they load up the meat and you can literally cut that sandwich in 4 and eat it 4 different times and be full after each quarter. You can even refrigerate it and eat it the next day and it still taste the same. The quality is unmatched.

The bread is hard as a rock and extremely flaky. The meat is great, but Jesus why leave out your bread this long, it feels borderline stale. Would not order again. Great portion though a huge sandwich.

I mean I like meat but that was just too much meat for me. But the bread the freshness and juiciness of the deli meat was 10/10. Next time I just want honey turkey mayo letttuce and tomatoes and cheese. No honey mustard and light on the vinaigrette. I got The Bomb Sandwich because of the reviews but I had the turkey in my cart at first, should have went with my mind end up removing all the other meat & just kept the turkey on it when getting my order! It was a pregnancy craving I had to have a nice juicy cold cut. Definitely going to order from here again and give them that 5 star when I get the turkey sandwhich. The way I want it. Another thing is I rather just go to the location at get the my order because, I feel like the price is bit much already, I dont knock the hustle because of the freshness of the deli meat! Just not worth the overall price with Door dash fees! Lastly will love to try it on a softer bread but that type of bread was still good. Just will like that NY style deli bread taste!

This is truly "the bomb" in terms of a pile on of every possible deli meat btwn an Italian and American sub. It's a lot of meat and wasn't the easiest to eat, but I was impressed by its size and weight. Unfortunately, the flavors of the meats are all "just there", nothing special, complimentary, or harmonious in flavors. It's just a big bite of an overwhelming mouthful. I'd recommend individual Italian and American if you want to enjoy the sandwich.
