the meat from the gyro is not authentic gyro meat, it taste weird like lunch meat, the sauce was not tzatziki sauce, there was only like 4 slices of meat. the sub was not like a traditiinal sub, it was 2 seperate sandwiches. no fries, very poor quality for an order for over $30.

The Veal Parm Sub was huge! I should've ordered a small but at least I'll have some left for lunch tomorrow. It was packed with veal and cheese and absolutely delicious!
The mozzarella sticks were horrible and the marinara sauce was so cold it def came right outta the fridge.
And the 2 Cannoli weren't what I was expecting when I chose chocolate instead of vanilla. I thought it was the flavor of the cream filling I was choosing but when they arrived they were runnny vanilla filled with some chocolate on the shell.
Overall, I'll probably try Sal's again but it's not my first or even second choice.

I always get the Gyro Lunch Special and it's by far my favorite gyro of any other restaurant. Huge portions and always super fresh.

Consistent and good! Living with a man from Jersey makes the bar for pizza in this house pretty high. Since moving to Virginia Beach, we tried 7 places before finding Sals and we wont be going anywhere else. Its never an oil bath, the sauce ratio is perfect, and the cheese is quality.
