Salt & Pepper Deli is my favorite sandwich shop in the SLU for sure!
What really levels up every sandwich is the panini pressed french bread. It is toasted to perfection, wonderfully flaky, not too heavy; absolutely delicious.
The sandwiches I have tried (The Sink, Mama Africa, Chicken Pesto) were all great. Very well made, evenly distributed ingredients, a generous portion of Boars Head meat, fresh vegetables, delicious additions such as roasted red tomatos or pesto and more!
The portion size is very reasonable for the price and quality of the food. I absolutely reccomend anyone looking for a quality sandwich tries the food here!
There are also many other snacks and food items available but the sandwiches have been keeping me running back recently.

Salt & Pepper is the best deli around. Not only are the sandwiches fresh and delicious, the customer service is unmatched. When DoorDash mixed up my order, the store called me personally to sort out the mistake. My Reuben, Macaroni salad, and Calypso Southern peach lemonade showed up correctly and deliciously. S&P is forever my go-to deli for fast, fresh service!

The Reuben is my favor sandwich. This sandwich didnt disappoint. Now was it on par with a New York deli or bodega? No! However, for location it was good. The price was okay. I am use to getting much more meat but still a good buy.

I usually love this place but i ordered The New Yorker and barely had any meat. I had more coleslaw than pastrami. It was disappointing.
