Tonight was my first time eating from Sam's
Southern Eatery. I lived in Louisiana for 19 yrs and developed a passion for fried catfish. Any time you order fried catfish, it will be different from the last time. I had the fried catfish with red beans and rice and coleslaw. The fish were wonderful and plentiful. The styrofoam container was approximately 10X10. Just look at the size of those fish! 6 pieces for 17.99. I couldn't believe it. Certainly, 2 meals for me. Pretty sure it won't be long before I'm placing another order .

#21 As usual the fish was excellent. Six large fillets seasoned perfectly and fried perfectly. Always consistent. Always delicious. When I don't feel like taking a risk on my dinner, this is my go to. It has never failed.

This crawfish po’boy with French fries was a home run—crispy, flavorful, and stacked like it meant business. The crawfish was seasoned just right, not shy, not sloppy, and the fries came out hot and golden, doing exactly what fries are supposed to do. Simple menu, executed with excellence. No fluff, all flavor. I’d order it again without a second thought.

The six catfish fillet dinner is awesome. I had it quite some time ago and couldn't believe how wonderful it was. I had it again today and it was just as good. Talk about consistency! It makes two complete meals for me. These are not small catfish fillets. Three of them are quite large and three of them are medium. They are seasoned perfectly and I just wouldn't change a thing. If you haven't tried Sam's, I'd encourage you to try it at least once. Once we'll be all that you need to keep coming back for more.

Can't believe I waited this long to try, because it's amazing.
The chicken strips were juicy and delicious, and the fries are great. They even followed my special request for BBQ (special requests are often ignored in my increasing experience, so thank you). And even over 5 miles traveled to be delivered, the food was still hot and I could even smell it through the bag (which is not easy for me let me tell ya).
The portions were awesome too, especially for the price. I think my only miniscule qualm would be I wish the lemonade had some more ice, but it was still delicious with a good balance of twang and sweetness.
