I've had a craving for Malaysian cuisine for a few months, so I was happy to find this restaurant. I've ordered from Satay twice and the food was delicious, affordable, and delivered on time. My favorite dishes were the Coconut Calamari and Mee Goreng. They even added in an extra side of chicken satay.

The wife said this was the worst food order this year and I can't disagree. The chicken was dry and hard like a rock, the curry was watered down, the satay and sauce was way too sweet and most confusing, we ordered $40+ of food with entrees and there was no rice at all. The meal was just too hard to eat.

Half Hainanese Chicken 海南鸡(半只) had the right amount for the pricr but the Seafood Scramble Egg Chow Fun 海鲜滑蛋河 did not have enough noodles

I've been ordering from this place for over 14 years - well before DoorDash or other food delivery service became a thing. It's normal for the quality of food to decline over the years but this time the food tastes completely different. It's as if they changed the chef for the worse.
The 125. Salt and Pepper Pork Chop was very blend. 155. Kang Kung Belachan was not only blend but also bitter.
I don't think I'll order from this restaurant again but 14 years was a pretty good run.

Beef Redang was melt in mouth tender, flavorful, all around excellent.
Beef satay was none of those things.
