This restaurant is a Pensacola landmark. I am so glad they are now on DoorDash! Food is so good. Always fresh and delicious. Today I had the Steak and Eggs. The cheese grits are creamy and eggs cooked perfectly. The steak tender and juicy. And the doordash driver was so nice making sure I had creamer and sugar for my coffee.

The Country Fried Steak and Fried Green Tomatoes were good and I would order again. The price on the Fried Green Tomatoes was too high for no more tomatoes than you get but they were good. They called and said that they were out of Mashed Potatoes and Gravy; so, I substituted it for Squash that was very undercooked. I also ordered Fried Zucchini as a part of the Country Fried Steak meal and the Zucchini was cut in extremely thick slices as well as hard as a rock.

Wow! I was craving Southern Comfort Food and this checked all of the boxes! From the crispy, cornmeal crust to the juicy, tender center of the steak, the fresh vegetables and amazing soup: This is a no brainer. It is simply delicious and satisfying!

Everything was pretty good except the cornbread. It was hard on top and soggy on bottom even being individually wrapped. For the price point, not overly impressed. Please leave juice in your greens, otherwise they are dry.

Fried Pork Chops chops were perfection. Great southern green beans French cut and seasoned right. The Cream Cheese Pecan Pie was also really good. The mashed potatoes were ok but the brown gravy on top was really good
