we were just in town for a week for our anniversary and since it's Saturday night, we decided we would just order a pizza. But we didn't want something low quality like a Domino's so we chose this place. Absolutely delicious! We're from Chicago so we are kind of tavern style pizza snobs. This place was absolutely five stars! Came very very close to our favorite place in Chicago, Barone's. They cost a little more but you get what you pay for!

Finally a pizza on DoorDash in the $25 range that's worth the money. The thing was loaded with toppings and cheese. And I had some leftovers for the next day. Giardinera peppers on the Mama'mia were hotter than I expected, a bit too overpowering for me. But I can't wait to try the other specialties.

Normally I love their original Italian grinder, best I've had in years. Today's order, however, was so hot (spice wise) that I was only able to eat 1/4 of the sandwich. It was almost as if the sausage had been doused with hot pepper juice, couldn't even taste the sausage since my mouth and lips felt like they were on fire and blistering. I'll try again but not for awhile.

A lot of food! Bruschetta (5) was my favorite of the dishes I ordered. Im impressed that it held up to the amount of balsamic with the drive! Yum!
Italian Grinder Sandwich was classic, nothing mind blowing but ever tasty. Wish there was salad dressing options for the side salad, it came without anything.
Chicken Parmesan (Romano) is going to be my lunch tomorrow but looked delicious!

Baked Spaghetti Supreme is one of my favorites. Very cheesy and the flavor is great. The Limoncello Mascarpone Cake was just meh, nothing I would order again and it was a pretty small slice. I also noticed the paper bags they were delivered in smelled like smoke when I opened them.
