Best fish and chip shop in Cairns , always cooked in fresh oil you can taste it and see it . Dirty oil doesnt produce golden batter it produces dirty coloured batter . So A1 service seabirds your batter always golden brown everytime . Also one of very few shops who sell you what it is , I want coral trout I get coral trout , unlike most who sell you a lie concerning their product .

Spanish Mackeral was the thinnest and driest piece of fish I can recall ever eating from a fish and chip shop. Definitely not worth $14.50! 1 Potato Scallops / Cakes tasted mostly of the oil they were cooked in. Also, they did not taste like real potato. Couldn't even get through eating one, so they all ended up in the bin. Very disappointing meal overall and such a waste of money!!

Have always recommended......Always pick up dinner as it's clean, friendly & quick. Ordered delivery meal deal & paid good money & was extremely disappointed...
Serving size was so small I gave my dinner to my child.....:-(

Always our fav fish & chips bar. Nice little surprise to find minties in our DD order. Potato salad is the best in Cairns
