• 11/27/24Lamb Gyro was fresh and a sizeable portion that is filling, but doesn't make you feel like you overate. Very tasty!
French Fries were hot and delicious by themselves. But they could also be dipped in any condiment of choice.
Baklava was a tad small, however was just how I prefer my baklava. It's delicious, light, and not soggy at all! Despite size, I'd definitely order again.

• 4/4/26I've been ordering from here like 2 times a month for years. The food is always so good and consistent. I never get a bad meal. I do the combo meal and my wife does just chicken and adds falafel and it's always 10/10. Sooo much food and it's always delicious. The baklava is also amazing. It always tastes so fresh! Best halal on LI (and this location seems to do it better than the other locations idk why).

• 11/3/24One of the first times I ordered from Shahs they made an error and sent me lamb over rice instead of a gyro. Best mistake they ever made. To be honest, if I want a gyro there are better options around, but if I want a quick bite, with fantastic portions at a fair price this place is the best. Honestly my favorite French Fries around, and a lamb a or chicken (or both using the extra meat option) will last me 2 meals, and I am a 200+lb grown man that likes to eat.

• 9/21/25Shahs is always a win in my book, they have the best consistency of any halal spot, food is always flavorful and preparation is perfect. I have always had a nice fresh meal with a great portion and will alwaysssss order from here
