You can't go wrong with anything on their menu. Gyros, chicken pita sandwich, to die for hummus, if you love garlic DO NOT MISS their garlic dip. For dessert definitely the kashta-Lea. I've tried looking for this at other restaurants and this is the only place that serves it. Plus, it's all made fresh! Super delicious!

Everything (except one item) on the Shaks Mezza platter was delicious, especially the Greek pickles, which were perfectly sour with a slight kick. The cucumbers were huge, and the veggies were all very fresh. I am so happy I found dolmathes that actually tasted right, and that were the right texture (firm w/ soft, but not mushy, rice filling & grape leaves that are malleable and soft). The platter was huge! I ordered it as a meal to share with my 5-year-old. We definitely didn't finish, so it might be helpful to have a couple of people who want to nibble on things.
All that said, I will say the baba ganoush was disappointing. I am a bit picky about my baba ganoush (I don't like a lot of seeds), so I was super excited that this baba ganoush had virtually no seeds and was a good texture. However, it tasted like it was made in a barn with the help of a goat. I don't know how else to explain it.
Overall, everything was great, so I'll order again, but will omit the baba ganoush.

Decided to spend $20 to add shawarma. . . Look at the portion. Can fit in the palm of my hand. They say it's flank steak but it is way too fatty and connective tissuey and is most likely skirt. The main gyro plate is a bucket of rice w a few strips of gyro. . . Flavors were decent nothing more special than any other Mediterranean joint. The fries looked to be cut from real potatoes and fried not premade frozen.

The lettuce in the Combo Salad was kind of old, I picked out tons of browning dark pieces. They also put the pita chips underneath toppings and they were soggy.
My husband thought the dessert tasted like he was eating perfume. All in all mostly disappointed by the outrageous cost for the quality.
