Spicy Eggplant with Garlic Sauce * was the sleeper hit it this meal! So delicous! Beef Noodle Soup * was okay, not very much beef. Chow Fun (Full Size) * was pretty good, nice portion size. Salt & Pepper * shrimp was decent though a little soggy because of the container. All in all decent, just kind of pricy. Skip the Hot & Sour Soup * lacked flavor, missing white pepper.

The BBQ Pork Buns are the best in San Diego!
I love them because, they remind me of lunch/snack time in Hawaii. Again, the Shanghai BBQ Pork Buns are delicious. Buy at Shanghai Bun.

The flavors are good for both the Mongolian * Pork and Honey Walnut * chicken, but it's expensive for the quantity you get. Instead of the pork being to the top line of the container it was less (nearly 3/4 full). Maybe I just figured for $16+ it would be full, not almost full. Same for the Cream Cheese Wonton * - you only get 4 pieces where I thought for the price I would get 6. It didn't say how many on the menu, so I took and chance and they are good but again, expensive for the amount in my opinion.

This is my favorite Chinese food in San Diego. (I moved here during the pandemic from San Francisco). It is definitely more American Chinese and that said that's what I love. The meat and vegetables all taste fresh and perfectly cooked. Have ordered the BBQ pork buns, Moo Goo Gai Pan, Moo Shu Pork, Chow Fun Chicken, white rice. Everything has been delicious. I've only ordered delivery so I don't know what the restaurant is like the delivery times were reasonable, the food was hot, fresh and properly packed.

From a serious foodie ... the food was AMAZING. The lychee tea was sweet but not overdone and you can definitely taste the lychee.
I had the wonton soup and shrimp dumplings. Very light and fresh. I really enjoyed my food.
