I was a huge fan of GotBurger for many years, so I was very excited to hear they had rebranded as Shawarmix and was eager to try their food again. Thankfully, the Mozzarella Sticks and Onion Rings tasted exactly as I remembered. My main disappointment was with the Mushroom Burger , which was always my go-to order at GotBurger. While the burger itself was fine, something was noticeably different. The beef had a tougher texture, and the classic GotBurger seasoning seemed to be missing. I can’t pinpoint exactly what changed, but the burger definitely didn’t have the same quality or flavor that I was always fond of. My recommendation to the new Shawarmix/GotBurger management would be to bring back whatever brand of ground beef and seasoning were used previously at GotBurger. If those two things can be restored, I think Shawarmix will have no problem living up to its beloved predecessor.
