Every order I have received from Shaw's BBQ House has always been hot, fresh and always correct. If they don't have what you order, they will call you and make it right. Their customer service is always helpful and friendly.

The BBQ plate was really tasty. The portions were HUGE! The stewed potatoes were delicious. Made of fresh potatoes. I would get this again in a heartbeat.
I must say also, that the fried okra was the best I have ever had. YUM!

The potato salad was rancid and the chicken was the smallest most over cooked pieces of chicken I've ever seen. I have never given a restaurant a bad review until now, that's how bad it was. I will say the fries were good, but I had to throw the rest away. So disappointing.

Easily the best delivery I've ever gotten. I was afraid, bc last week the Mac was noodles and cheesy water, but today, everything was cooked to perfection. Fresh Barbeque with just the right amount of spice, balanced with cool creamy coleslaw on a soft, buttery bun. The macaroni and cheese was baked to perfection, each bite coated in savory melted cheddar. The cabbage needed a hint of salt and pepper, but that might have just been my own personal preference abd it was still cooked to the perfect texture. Of course, their ice cold sweet Tea is always perfect. The kids got hot dogs, and they serve red hot dogs (the best in the world) and top them generously with REAL HOMEMADE eastern NC chili, not that canned mess. With a side of hot, fesh, seasoned crinkle cut fries - Everything about this order was heavenly. Thanks Shaws for another great family dinner!

Ordered a breakfast plate, 2 old fashions, and a drink. The plate was... okay, no seasoning on anything, really. Bland eggs, plain frozen tater tots. Cheese biscuits had good flavor where you could eat them, but the outer edges are brick hard and have to be broken off every single time we order them. You pay for a whole biscuit but only get three or four actual edible bites. As far as the meats, I don't eat them, but husband said they were okay. Major difference from the Shaw's of 10 years ago when everything had a distinct, savory flavor and was cooked to perfection, but grateful we still have Shaw's at all. (Add a spice rack to the kitchen area, food will improve 100%, I promise!) Giving 3 stars, because the order was correct! which is hard to get via doordash. Will try again in the future.
