I have been going to Shell's on Dale Mabry for my birthday EVERY year ( except the last 3yrs when I moved ) for the past 25yrs. The ONLY entree I ever get, the reason I go... BABY LOBSTER PASTA! You ask me my favorite food?? I will scream BABY LOBSTER PASTA. You ask me what is the ONLY meal I could eat forever?? I will scream BABY LOBSTER PASTA! BABY LOBSTER PASTA! It. Is. Everything! They give a nice portion of baby lobsters, the sauce is *chef's kiss* ( I get extra ), and of course, the pasta is cooked perfectly. *insert waterfall drooling here* I was recently injured and the first dish I thought of?? BABY LOBSTER PASTA! BABY. LOBSTER. PASTA.

The fish is usually good when eaten in the restaurant. The fish delivered was another thing. Much smaller portion although expensive and not very tasty. I will not order that delivered again.

The shrimp in the SHRIMP PASTA were not fresh and undercooked. They had a terrible fishy taste and were tossed out. The pasta sauce lacked flavor and complexity and tasted like buttered noodles for young children.

Was in town for work and went to Shells one night and ordered DD the next night to try something new. The Clam Chowder Cup was sooo good! I enjoyed the shrimp mezzo mezzo and a stawberry mojito the first night. So good!! I ordered a 8oz Sirloin with shrimp skewers the next night via DD. The shrimp skewers were the highlight. The ribeye was ordered med rare and came well done and didn't have a good flavor. I would stick to the seafood as the shrimp were delish!
