Why would you copy Russ and daughters, and charge the same price for significantly less enjoyable sandwich ( The Tribute)? The bagel did not seem fresh.
With the Tuna Spicy Super Funk, I was excited to see it advertised as "Seriously spicy", and was disappointed with a sandwich that would maybe be a 4 on a spice scale from 1-10.

This is probably the worst BEC bagel I've ever had in NYC. Ive lived here for 7 years. The ingredients are extremely, extremely low quality. The bacon tastes like the bacon from a best western breakfast buffet. The cheese is probably a kraft slice. The only reason im giving it a 2 star is because their lox is good.

I've ordered bagels from here multiple times, and they ALWAYS arrive completely untoasted. I ask eery time for it to be "toasted dark" and I get a sliced bagel with cream cheese and lox at room temperature. It's not even a little toasted, they just ignore it. If that matters to you, don't order a bagel from here. The actual bagels, cream cheese, smoked fish are good but don't put toasting options on the menu if you aren't going to honor them.
