I used to live in the Dallas/Ft Worth area and absolutely loved their kolache and donuts. I was super excited when they were announced for Vienna. The wait was worth it. Shipley Bold & Cheese Kolaches, their coffee, and donuts are worth my 20 minute drive to get them.

First time patron and after the first bite of my bacon, egg & cheese kolache. I knew I was in deep trouble of eating too many at one sitting which of course I did! It is clear that the fluffiness of the bread is what makes whatever filling you choose to taste like doughy magic!

All of the Create Your Own Donut Box as well as the Crunchy and Strawberry Iced Cake were not good. The raised donuts had no flavor and the cake donut had a weird taste to it, maybe some kind of spice. The icings were not good either, the texture was a little bit gelatinous but more importantly they all tasted very artificial and had a bit of a chemical taste, probably from the artificial flavoring and/or coloring. I was very disappointed with the entire order and would not order from here again. I will say that they were fresh and looked very pretty.

OMG YALL SHIPLEYS IS IN NOVA!! Ive been quietly manifesting a Shipleys here for about a decade, and they did NOT DIssappoint! Im a Kolache Freak and they are spot on!!!.Shipley Bold, Jalapeño & Cheese Kolache Dont get me started on those donuts!!! Thank you Texas Peeps!!! SO HAPPY!!!
