I ordered Soltani and geimeh bademjon and Ash reshteh.
The sultan had the ugliest koobideh(dry/skinny), barg was very tiny, dry and ugly looking NOT A $37 DISH, maybe ok at under$10 menu.
geimeh was ok and ash was good also.
This is my third experience at this restaurant and it keeps getting more expensive and bad quality.
I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone who is looking for good quality persian restaurant, the quality is below most persian restaurant and markets in San Diego, don't waste your money there.

The dish arrived without the lamb shank. Instead 4 tiny pieces of dried lamb were substituted without my consent. The beans smelled and tasted awful with a heavy mix of spices and acidity that did not blend together. Really not pleasant to the palate.
Quite an expensive price for rice and horrible beans!

Mirza Ghasemi was bitter which means the eggplants were not salted ahead of time. I won't order again. They charged me extra for rice which I was fine with until I saw how much they've charged. $8.63 for a side of rice? That's a bit much. Sholeh Zard tasted fine but not enough almonds.

Koobideh kabab was great tasting. The minced meat kebab was tender and very flavorful. Great tasting rice. Tomato was perfectly grilled. Generous portion. Mote than enough for two people. It was delivered on time.
