I have eaten at Shoney's for many years. I have not gotten anything that I do not like. I love the variety on the breakfast and the dinner buffet. I enjoy the omelet from the menu but I always enjoy the grits with butter and cheese, biscuits with sausage gravy, I would like to see more sauteed peppers and onions on the grill but I am overly satisfied with what I find when I go there. This is my go to place when I want breakfast.

A bit disappointed in the experience as we hadn't had Shoney's in years. Items were missing, the burger we had was poorly put together with what seemed like old ingredients, the baked potato we had was dry and sad, and overall taste was bland. Probably won't order from here again for a while.

Both of the 2 BISCUITS & GRAVY PLATTER were excellent especially the scrambled eggs. We didn't care for the parchment paper under our food.

Chopped steak was overdone - I ordered mushrooms and Heinz 57 sauce (it was on my receipt too) but it came plain. Mashed Potatoes and the soup I ordered both came very bland, no flavor at all.

The chopped steak "The Original" was tough as leather and the chicken "Garden Swiss" was as dry as the desert. The only items worth eating were the side salads. Money wasted!
