I enjoyed my meal. I received authentic catfish & not a cheap alternative. The fish was seasoned & fried perfectly. Condiments & lemons were provided as well.

I ordered Fried Oysters and the oysters were unhealthy and inedible due to so much salt. Called restaurant and they said it is because they brine the oysters because they are not fresh and brining keeps them fresh longer. I also asked was the cornmeal preseasoned and they said yes and I can order flour coating. I ordered oysters previously and they tasted fine and were so delicious that I ordered again.
I also ordered a hamburger and it obviously was precooked because it was too dry and hard. None of the items I ordered were to be added were not; even condiments were not included.
I ordered the pasta and it was not properly packaged. The sauce leaked out into the bag and onto my jacket I arrived home and all of my sauce was gone. The containers that my gumbo was in would be great for the pasta; even if 2 containers had to be used.
On the good side I ordered the shrimp poboy and it was delicious.
The gumbo was okay; the sausages were cut into very small pieces and were not recognizable because they looked like black dots but they tasted fine.
The best items of the order were the French Fries, the Side Salad and the Oyster Poboy.

ordered from Shuckers several times and the food is always good. Red Beans and Sausage was delicious and had both link and smoked sausages, BBQ Pork Sandwich was straight (had to add bbq sauce for flavor); can't go wrong with the Garden Salad and a great price!!!

Oyster Po' BoyBlueberry Cheesecake both lok delicious, though I would havepreferred a foot longpo-boy. The oysters were light and had the perfect amount of crispness!
