• 5/23/22This is, hands down, the best value Indian food in Knoxville. The quality of the food, along with the portion sizes at the price (even the inflated door dash prices) are unbeatable.
The chicken tikka masala and chicken korma are unbeatable. The only critique I would have is that they could use a little heat, but that's a personal preference

• 7/22/24This was my first time trying Sitar in years. I used to go to their buffet over in Papermill a long time ago.
The Gobi Kulcha was supposed to have "homemade cheese" inside, there was nothing but little bits of onion. Only $5, but still not as advertised. It was also dry.
The Kulfi (pictured next to a Coca Cola to illustrate size) was pretty much a single scoop of really bland ice cream. It was obviously portioned out and frozen ahead of time. Definitely a waste of another $5.
The Karahi Lamb Palak seemed like a small portion until I mixed it up with the rice in a larger bowl, but for what you get for $20, I wouldn't order it again. The lamb was still a bit gamey on the taste, like it hadn't been marinated or prepared right.
Not going to order from here again.

• 7/4/25Sitar is my favorite Indian food... ever?! Their chicken tikka masala is bursting with flavor. The goat curry is fire! All of their biryanis are savory & delicious. Mango lassi is so yummy. You can't go wrong with any of the vegetarian options; however, their meat is so tender & flavorful. Whatever you get, you won't be disappointed.

• 7/27/26Aloo Gobi is my go-to. I plan to order something different but end up picking this every time -- it's that delicious! Would definitely recommend. & don't let the portion size fool you -- it looks small but you'll be stuffed after about 3 bites. :) Love Sitar!

• 12/13/21Food was great and packaged well! The assorted appetizer is great because it has a little of everything from the appetizers and it was awesome. The garlic naan is always our go to and was not a disappointment. The Chicken Tikka Masala was very flavorful and full of chunks of chicken and a hint of spice. The Chicken Korma was in a similar sauce with chunks of chicken and veggies. Well worth the money & a great dinner!
