Sizzling Wok is our go to and fav Chinese place in the area! Portions are great, we always have leftovers for lunch! C13. Sweet & Sour Chicken, 15. Wonton Soup云吞汤 are amazing, and the 10a. Crab Rangoon (8)炸蟹角 are my favorite, the cream cheese filling is great (I am picky with Crab Rangoon too)! The food is always hot and fresh when it arrives.

Second order from Sizzling Wok in a week or so due to a 30% off special on several items. The only carryover from the first order was the General Tso’s Chicken. While the flavor, quality and portion size were good, this combination plate (with fried rice and egg roll) were inconsistent. Spice level: mild, medium and spicy is offered, and last time they nailed spicy with just enough heat to make this American-Chinese dish interesting. Today no such luck and perhaps its preparer didn’t bother to read the spice level notation. The egg roll was crispy and tasty as before but absolutely dripping oil. Clearly it never had a chance to sit and drain in the fry basket and was hurriedly placed in its paper sleeve. Broccoli in the shrimp dish was a bit over-cooked. Lo mein noodles were similarly overdone and had none of the sear that creates a little smokiness that is a characteristic of this dish when cooked properly. I will resist ordering again from here and instead revert to my absolute fave, China House in nearby Quaker Hill.

I wouldn't order again. There doesn't seem to be anything homemade or well made about this. There's not a lot of chicken compared to the ratio of breading. The white rice was dry, and the lo mein was very watery and soggy and very soft compared to the wonton noodle soup which was actually very firm for a noodle you expected to be supple and smooth and melting your mouth it was much chewier. It looked a lot better than it tasted, and I'll be ordering from China House from here forward. way better experience.

We've been struggling to find good Chinese food since moving back to Waterford. Golden Wok used to be our go-to place because we were never disappointed there. Unfortunately, they moved their location along with the previous people who cooked there. We were so disappointed in the food we ordered that we didn't order from them again.  We tried lots of other places where a few items would be ok, but a lot that were not. We finally tried Sizzling Wok, hoping for the best, and we were not disappointed. The roast pork lo mien was full of veggies and pork and the perfect amount of sauce.  The egg rolls were crisp without a whole lot of grease coming off them. The crab Rangoon was good. The chicken fingers were good, along with the white meat chicken fried rice. We were completely satisfied with our meal. I hope this wasn't a fluke and that we'll get another good meal the next time we place an order.
