Marion and Loretta Sluys bought Bauer's Bake Shop in 1966 and changed the name to Sluys Poulsbo Bakery.
Sluys Poulsbo Bakery's products are all handcrafted and prepared from scratch.
Great bakery! I had a Viking with no filling and my husband had the huge cinnamon roll. Melted in your mouth and the staff was very friendly. Definitely worth a return trip!!

Glazed donuts are stupid good. The pecan rolls are pretty great. Snails are delicious, apricot is my favorite.

Delicious pastries (including some pretty authentic Scandinavian treats) and a great friendly staff - it's our first stop every time we go to Poulsbo!

Didn't really like anything I got but the gingerbread man.
I know their donuts are good, I just don't think I'll order this type of stuff again :/
