We ordered this as a fun messy dinner, but were devastated the shrimp do not come deveined. Everything tastes great, but it took me forever to peel and clean the shrimp before anyone could eat them. It costs an additional $21 to get shrimp without heads so we were fine with removing the heads, but never imagined they wouldnt be cleaned.
The potato salad side was delicious but note that the sides are very small. They come in the same container as a "side of ranch" from Bill Miller. It's more like a sample for almost $3. The Beignet Fries were awesome. Think sticks of funnel cake. Delicious and fun.

Jambalaya was old and as a result overcooked, practically mush. Honestly should have been thrown out. Muffuletta was ok, the proportion of bread to fillings was off (too much bread/skimpy fillings) and the olive salad was too... olivey? It overpowered everything else. I'd rather have one from Schlotzky's. The catfish was fine, good portion for the cost and compared to competitors.

I ate at Smashin Crab at least once a month for most of 2018 so, when I saw there was a location close by my hotel on this work visit I was excited. However, this food was terrible. I ordered Build Your Own Boil --- 1 pound of head-on shrimp (Cajun, spice 3) with 2 corns, 2 eggs and Cornbread.
There's a risk when ordering boils for delivery and I know that. This was well beyond that though. The shrimp was gummy. Most of it couldn't be removed from the shell it was so overcooked. The corn as well; it stuck to my teeth! The spice level 3 was spicier than I recall so, be aware. The flavor was fine but, the spice became overwhelming half way through. The Cornbread was soooo dense and hard to swallow. It tasted good but, it was impossible to finish. $40 down the drain. I could have gotten a better bang for my buck at the local HEB.

Everything was over cooked and way to salty. The fish portions for the price was way too small. The blueberry clobber was more like cake and dry. Not much flavor.
