First time ordering from Smithfield... definitely won't be my last! Loved the chicken, hush puppies and stew! One of the better values on DD and one of the best packaged meals I've received with a nice reusable bag!

when I received my order and opened up both the containers I was extremely disappointed. the chicken was dry and that chicken leg is a smallest chicken leg I've ever seen with one bite of meat on it. the thigh is dry. when you order, it asks you for 2 sauces, I received neither. very disappointing. pretty sure I won't be ordering here again.

I dont want to exaggerate, I want to be honest and practical. Fried chicken is a simple food, it's not going to impress the upper class. That being said, growing up in the south I hve an attachment to it.
It's a true comfort food for me. I travels tens of thousands of miles a year all over the world for work.
This was the best fried chicken and the best hush puppies ive ever had anywhere at any price point.
That's it. It' that simple.

I was expecting fried chicken not bar bq, and to be fair they gave me a lot of food I even asked to sub the hush puppies with fries they gave me both the chicken was how I expected that's why I wanted to try fried most restaurants don't do bar bq'd chicken right and this was no exception it was basically baked chicken dipped in their sauce, chicken was was dry and I don't feel like that sauce belongs on chicken it is definitely something for their actual barbecue pork which was also dry and could have used the sauce to liven the taste, but anyway the best thing was the baked beans, and cole slaw, would have loved to try the fried chicken though.

The Shrimp Snack (Online) was not worth the money. The portionsize was entirely too small.
The Wing Snack (Online) came with baby wings. I am quite dissapointed with this location.
The BBQ Sandwich (Online) was probably what saved this experience from receiving 1 star. It was perfection.
