This is the first time we tried this place, and I have to say that everything was absolutely delicious, Mac & Cheese and the green Green Beans were sublime. We also loved the Jalapeno Sausage. It was so delicious and the Pork Ribs were so delicious and tender, and the sauce made them even better. We will definitely have to come back here, or order again. I'd give smokey Mo's barbecue 10 stars if I could!

Smokey Mo's is one of the most consistent and flavorful ribs in San Antonio. They need no BBQ sauce. The green beans are always well seasoned and the creamy coleslaw is an excellent addition to any meal. Try the coleslaw on your your next hot dog. It's a Southern thing, but a slaw dog hits the spot:

Pork Ribs so delicious and tender. They practically fall off of the bone! Pork Belly Burnt Ends , Potato Salad , Green Beans Everything is exceptionally good. Complments to the cook/chef.💋 I keep coming back here for the portions that are perfect! Freshness in abundance!

I had a craving for ribs and picked this place based on the ratings. It did not disappoint! I ordered a lot of food so we could eat off of it for a couple of days. The ribs were so juicy, meaty, flavorful, and fell off the bone. I didn't bother with the sauce - they didn't need them. The smoked turkey was also really good. And the creamed corn was fantastic too! The other sides were good and the chocolate cake was decent. I wasn't the biggest fan of the banana pudding, but this order was mostly about the meat and I'll definitely order from them again.

Flavor is good. Portion for a 2 Meat Plate feels off. Most of the brisket was a huge chunk of fat without meat. It's no Cooper's, so I'll probably just wait and eat there next time. The pickles are pickles, but the onion left that gross "old onion" taste in my mouth. I'd suggest better quality onions or maybe fresher ones.. Likely won't order again. For the price, I'd rather just pay the tried and true Cooper's.
