So this is my first time eating here. I have to say everything is so flavorful. I wanted a sweet tea but they told me they were out and since they were out of my second option, they gave me a Coke and a slice of cake to make up for it. That was very sweet of them. The food is so tasty. However, the oxtail meal is $20 before you add anything extra like we did. If you can see in the picture, I counted four oxtails two of the four are just Cartlidge and therefore nothing really that you can eat from it unless you were going to suck the gravy off of it. Although it's good enough to do that I feel like I did not get $20 worth of oxtails. Maybe it's because I ordered it from DoorDash and maybe if you go in person they will give you more meat for your money. I'm not sure but they sure are delicious. I would definitely order again, but I think I would go in person for something like oxtails from now on. All in all the food is delicious. four out of five and it's only because there wasn't nearly enough meat on the bones.

This is going to become my weekly vegetable fix! Everything (beans, cabbage, sweet potatoes & greens) are seasoned to perfection. I have only tried the catfish and you need nothing to go with it. No tartar sauce, lemon, onion, etc.. This place is a 100 out of 10!!

Oxtails Meal wasn't tender at all . Thimble of cabbage . I will never say anything bad because they place usually does a great job

Double Pork Chop Meal There was so much food. Extremely generous portions. This fed my husband, My granddaughter and myself. The flavors were perfect. The pork chops were tender and seasoned well. The mac and cheese was cooked perfect. The sweet potatoes were so good. I wish I had ordered a double serving. The food was fresh and delicious. I also ordered Additional Bread for my husband. He enjoyed that also. I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a great value for your money.
My only request would be for them to sell chicken and dressing. I know it would be amazing.

My Door Dash driver was amazing picked up from 2 places and came directly here and the food was still hot.

I order here everytime they're open. The meat portions are good but the side portions could be a little bigger. The food is tasty, but there are times the mac & cheese tastes different, idk if it's a different cook but it's good just more wet sometimes other times more cheesy. Always hot. 9/10
