Actually pleasantly surprised! I never order from here even though i drive past it often, decided to give it a shot on a random monday night. Beef satay/teri is cooked to a lovely medium even on a thin slice, very soft and marinated perfectly. The chicken was crispy, light, juicy, and full of flavor. They provided extra sweet sauce and spicy mustard. Fried rice is great, not oily like the usual cheap spot. Give them a shot, I know I will be trying actual entree dishes in the future after this experience with their apps and side dishes

The General Gau's Chicken and House Fried Rice were piping hot and seasoned well. The Crab Rangoon (6) were cooked to perfection but non-existent crab.

General Gau's Chicken was better than most i like the way they cook nice tender . most places its hard and overcooked i have broken teeth! ill come back justfor that ad shrimpfried rice was excellent

Forgot part of my order, crab ragoon was like a rock, $15 for beef teriyaki and you get $7.5 worth of meat.

Almost everything was burnt in the pupu Pu Pu Platter (for 2) . the fried rice had a cooked too long smell. The Fried or Steamed Peking Ravioli (6) were good. The General Gau's Chicken was very good. We have been loyal customers since they opened. The food is usually amazing.
