Their food is usually good but tonight's order was disgusting. The chips were dropping in oil and over fried. The cheese was mushy. The meat was dry. It was really gross. They used to give a bigger side container for the protein sides. They downsized but didn't change the price. The carnitas came in rubbery giant chunks. Side CarnitasNachos Supreme-1/2m They also advertise a 20oz Manzanita and instead they gave me a 12oz Sidral Mundet. I like that soda,but I don't like paying more for less.

The flour tortilla in the tostada was lightly fried and very tasty. I could tell it was handmade and not mass produced in a factory. It was a large portion and I could not finish it. Good carne asada and guacamole.
The beef tamale was tasty, but to be honest I've had better. The masa was kind of blah.
I will go back and try other dishes. Their menu is really extensive.

i usually order a bean, rice & cheese burrito(which is so good) but this time i ordered carne asada fries w/chicken and i swear they used canned chicken. no seasoning, it tasted old & it was too moist. there was about a tablespoon of pico on it & a pound of cheese. i feel like i wasted my money.

I will be generous and give Sombrero 2/5 stars. The Carne Asada Nachos Supreme-Full were absolutely flavorless and tough to eat. The green salsa has a great flavor, however the red salsa is very weak and tastes terrible. The Chips & Large Guacamole were very bland; I wouldn't call that guacamole, to be quite fair. The Churros were good. Don't waste your time or hard-earned money on the Nachos, and don't get the red salsa. The Utensils I requested were there. I wouldn't recommend Sombrero to anyone. Taco Bell is a far better choice.
