This time I had the Chicken and Nakhod Rice bowl w/ a side of extra Afghan bread. It was delicious! Very satisfying. The chicken pieces were tender ; the chickpeas were cooked perfectly: soft with a very gentle firmness when you first bite into them; both stewed in a gently seasoned, savory sauce that you'll want to keep dipping your bread in or piling on your rice.
The salad with yogurt and mint is a great compliment to the dish. I tasted great mixed in w/the chicken, chickpeas and rice. And the freshly made Afghan bread, which is a soft somewhat thick flatbread is always good.

The Chablee Kabob kebab meal and Chicken and Nakhod Rice Bowl rice were absolutely delicious—full of flavor and honestly just as good as any Afghan food I’ve ever had. Everything tasted fresh, authentic, and well-made. So glad to have such great local food nearby! Definitely recommend supporting this small business if you get the chance. We will definitely order again soon.

Very excited there is an Afghan restaurant near by!! I'll definitely will try more from their menu. The seasoning in the dishes I had:
1) Qurma Chalaw - delicious! The seasoning is subtle and complex. It came with basmati rice, salad, & bread. The mint and yogurt are better than any typical salad dressing. They brighten flavors of everything in the salad. The bread is slightly chewy & dense-great for soaking up the sauce, and on its own. Wish I could buy a loaf of it.
2) Kadu-yummy!! savory with a little sweetness and gentle spicyness.
3) Roht-.excellet!! it smelled so good I had to take a bite b/4 eating the main dishes. It's gently sweet and seasoned w/.
4) Afghan black tea- mild black tea with caradamon. Very good!
