The ribs we absolutely amazing with the meat falling off the bone and the flavor dancing in my mouth. The baked beans were awesome and reminded me of a time I was in Texas enjoying the best beans in town.
However, the meal took a turn. The cornbread was exceptionally dry and the specialty butter was freezer burned.
The price for the sides was a bit pricey for the size of the portions. So, I'll just return for the meat.

The Coffee Rubbed Brisket looked old and was so dry, I couldn't even swallow the whole first bite. I tried chewing it for over a minute and had to spit it out. It was the worst bite of meat I've ever taken. Completely inedible. The Mac & Cheese looked and tasted like it was microwaved and then left to sit until it was a bit above room temperature. The cheese was congealed and the noodles felt stale. The Butterscotch Swirl Cornbread was dry but edible, but the sauce that came with it looked so off-putting that I didn't try it. It looked like the waterlogged bits of food that you find at the bottom of a pan in the sink after it was left to soak overnight. This is the first food review I've ever left on Doordash after years of using it, as this is the only food I've had that was profoundly bad enough to warrant it. Do not order food here.

I'd recommend a differen container for the BBQ Sliders so they don't arrive all fallen over and all over the container. Mac & Cheese was okay, a little bland so I added my own seasoning. I like Sophie's BBQ in person, it might just not transport well.
