• 7/3/26The Fried Catfish is delicious. One order fed two people. Several fried filets of catfish!! And, the fried onion rings are outstanding! No heavy batter, just lightly dipped in flour and fried! The Creole Potato Salad is the best I've ever eaten!! Again, the portions are large and one order is enough for two people. I highly recommend Soul Cafe & Lounge. I will be ordering from them again!

• 10/5/24First time trying this restaurant; it was excellent! Soul Café Creole Gumbo Bowl was a large portion with plenty of meat and a rich, thick roux. Collard Greens were tasty, as was the sweet corn bread that came along with my order. I am not always a fan of vinegar forward potato salad, but the Creole Potatoe Salad was nicely balanced and I would get it again.

• 8/28/24I had the Catfish Po'boy Lunch and it was even better than I expected. It's a good deal as you get 2 sides, a dessert and a drink. I went with the fries, gumbo and the bread pudding was the only choice for dessert. I'm not a fan of bread pudding, but I really liked theirs. The po'boy was really good - the catfish was perfect! The only downside was my drink was missing, but DD did me right.

• 1/17/26So I have eaten at this restraunt quite a few times . I have meant to write a review several times , however , every time I get my food it is so delicious that we tear it up and get too stuffed to care about anything else . So this time .... while I'm awaiting my order, I decided to right the review before I get my food. The food is definitely worth the price . Large portions every time . Hot and fresh . I am from right on the MS/Louisiana border and this is the best soul food I have found in Florida .

I will say that $17 for 6 pieces of shrimp was disappointing, but they tasted amazing!
