Food was pretty good! Packaged well and showed up still warm and fresh!im from the south and was in town for work. (Trucker) my only complaint was the portion of the oxtails was skimpy for the price! Other than that BUSSIN!id definitely consider ordering again! Btw the Kool-aid was the bomb!collard greens were steamy also but great taste! Rice and gravy was on point. Coulda kept the corn bread.

I ordered Turkey Chops and requested that they be cooked crispy because I thought they'd be thick like they usually are at other restaurants. Well I received two paper thin turkey chops, one without a bone! I could not chew them. Take a look at the pics below. They also use too much black pepper; it is not ground enough. I could not eat the rice n gravy.

The meat loaf plate is the bomb.com!!!! It's delicious with dressing, and okra, corn and tomatoes. I love it. If you like meatloaf this is the one to order. :) I can only say "umm" when I'm eating it.
The vegetable plate is also, good, my son loves the red beans and rice, so I always order that for him.
This is one of my favorite soul food restaurants. :)

The Fish was not fresh , dark fish inside had to pick through my fish , shrimps was tiny and all crust.. yams was old and black eye peas was old
Usually the food is good , how ever I felt I was eating leftovers

Ordered the Meatloaf dinner with macaroni and chains yams with a side of Cabbage got Meatloaf but only a small substituted with dry brisket without asking macaroni and cheese tasted like it was cooked 2 days ago yams was decent Meatloaf and Cabbage tastes like black pepper all I'm a say whoever cooking needs to lay off the black pepper it's ridiculous
