Great price for the amount of food that comes! Impossible to eat it all at once! The cornbread and potato salad were amazing.

I'm a huge fan of grits and nothing gets better than their southern fried tofu bowl. Grits topped with gumbo and a big crunchy fried tofu on the side. So good!

I got a combination plate to try a few different sides. I went with some classics... mac n cheese, mashed potatoes, and corn bread. The portions are a good size, and they were presented with care (as best as you can with takeout) but all of the food had a strange after taste that made it hard to enjoy. Especially the mac n cheese, which was ziti tossed in a light amount of cheese, with a spicy kick. I found it strange. I like a more gooey, salty mac n cheese so it just wasn't for me. I feel like soul food is supposed to be remind you of home, but the taste just doesn't cut it. These are the types of spots that give vegan food a bad rep for "not being as good" unfortunately

The tofu cornbread is unique and delicious...Im still snacking on the potato salad as I type this review. The servings are huge for the price

There isn't really any seasoning on any of it all I tasted was pepper on everything. The gravy for the mashed potatoes was peppery. The greens I liked the idea of the sauce but I just tasted a bunch of pepper. The Mac and cheese no real flavor either just pepper. The bbq tofu was really good I enjoyed that. The corn bread was kind of hard.
