ease off on the black pepper in the fried cabbage, EVERYTHING else was WONDERFUL!! And I've eaten my fair share of barbecue, one of the best!

As regular customers, we’ve sadly noticed a significant decline in food quality over the last few years. Given the premium prices, the value just isn't there anymore. We recently spent $90 to have three non-beef plate meals delivered, and the experience was incredibly disappointing due to poor execution and multiple missing items.
Here is where the meal fell short:
The Mac & Cheese: Both orders were terrible. The pasta was so overcooked it was like eating bland mush. It was completely unpalatable, and we had to throw it out.
The Double Barrel Baked Potato: We paid an extra dollar for bacon to be included, but there was absolutely none on the potato. Furthermore, the meat was below average and far too greasy to enjoy.
Missing Items We Paid Extra For: We ordered and paid extra for two sides of Texas toast, as well as a side of bacon for the potato, and none of these items were included in our delivery.
The Rambler Bowl: This was a colossal disappointment because the spicy BBQ sauce we ordered was missing. Without it, the bowl was incredibly dry and disappointing.
The only highlights of the meal were the banana pudding, which was excellent, and the BBQ sandwich, which was fine. However, when two out of three meals are prepared incorrectly, paid extras are left out, and sides are inedible, it's hard to justify the cost. Soulman’s, please do better.

I did not receive my fried okra and the 8oz Spicy Potatoes was the wrong size. I only received 4 oz. They charged me for an item I didn't receive. The Extra Toast was hard and did not come packaged. It was placed in the bag as is. The Soulman's Sandwich is small for $8. Based on the reviews, I expected so much more in regards to quality and effort.

The Half chicken plate was sooooo good. The chicken was cooked to perfection very juicy. Sides were very good also as usual. Baked potato very good, Mac n cheese and banana pudding never disappoint.

For the value (price) I found the potatoe Double Barrel (your choice of meat) somewhat small andthe filing not plentiful. The taste was good with the spicy sauce; however, at the present time I am nit sure I would reorder again.
