Chicken was over cooked and the crust was hard. Did not like their batter they use for chicken. Not your southern style for sure. The potato salad has mostly mustard in it and slaw is cabbage with vinegar. Just don't like their style of cooking. It was not good and did not eat it!

Ordered the Jumbo Cheeseburger plain and received the burger fully loaded and inedible. Past experiences with South 21 in Matthews have typically been favorable but when paying for what essentially amounted to a $23 Cheeseburger you would expect a little more attention to detail.

Ordered 2 burgers with lettuce, tomatoes, and onions. No lettuce on either burger and there was such an overwhelming amount of onions on both that I had to scrape them off, which didn't help. Both tasted like onion sandwiches. A complete waste of $25. Very disappointing!

Chicken tenders were not crispy at all. The one on brookshire are much better. The flavor was good though.
