Southern blues has always been a favorite of mine, so I'm not gonna give a low rating. However, with the fried Catfish it seems to have been reheated... I used DoorDash ... it was tough ... I eat catfish all the time, it's suppose to be tender, it was very tough. I haven't eaten it yet I'm going to have to doctor it. Seafood salad was Mac Salad. It had ONE shrimp and zero crab meat for $10. There was a piece (1 slither) of imitation crab meat that's not real food ... it's manufactured, so I'm glad you left that at a zero minimum. But if it was real, that was omitted too. I DID Not call DoorDash to get refunded. Like I said Southern Blues has great food. I guess when I DoorDash, I may get 2nd rate.

This was my first time ordering from this restaurant. The sweet potatoes were AMAZING!! No notes. The cornbread was tasty. The cabbage had good flavor. I wish it were cut a little smaller. Unfortunately, the Mac & Cheese was SALTY! The cook on the dish was perfect. A great amount of cheese and a good portion. Just salty. and the Turkey Wing could have use some of the salt from the mac and cheese h
because it lacked some flavor and was a tad dry in places. I will order again!

Every part of the meal was delicious 😋 The string beans, mashed potatoes with brown gravy and salmon was perfectly seasoned. I should have ordered 2 meals instead of 1.

The Whitting Lunch fish was fried way too hard, mostly inedible. The Mac and cheese is salty and they forgot to give the dasher my strawberry lemonade. This is my second time ordering food from this location. The first time I ordered turkey wings and they weren't baked long enough, they were too tough to chew. Both of my experiences with this restaurant were disappointing and a waste of money!

5 nice size pieces
Sides 10/10 and the portions are enough for 2 meals.
The cornbread was nice and moist.
Wont be disappointed
