The food has great flavor. I enjoy great soul food! This place is top notch. I particularly like the 1 Jumbo Wing , Smoked Turkey Collard Greens and sautéed cabbage. I tried the 3 Fried shrimp and Southern Catfish Special and they were tasty too.

Oh my, my ,my. Unexpected delight right here. I think a relative was in the kitchen of this restaurant. The food was amazing. The “Taste of The South” Fried Catfish was by far the STAR of the items. It was fresh, flakey and crunchy. The flavor knocked my socks off! The greens were great but a touch too salty, but I ate them all (uh huh, yes I did). The Creamy Coleslaw was delicious as was the Sauteed Cabbage. I got Spicy Sausage & Chicken Gumbo (Cup) and it was salty too. And it has a hefty price for the amount you get, but still it was tasty. The desserts y'all... oh my goodness. They spared no expense on the portion size. The price is a bit elevated but you get a size more than one person can eat. The Sweet Potato Pie was a pure delight and the 7-up Pound Cake is slap yo' mama good! I have to eat that in private because I am going to annihilate that baby and the carnage will be brutal.

Let me begin by saying I support local business. However, for the sheer cost of this order, $60 plus I am disappointed. I am an old school cook, and I know doctored up canned greens when I taste them. They are tough and need at least another 90 minutes of cook time. The meatloaf has a hint of nutmeg or 5 spice that was off-putting. It is set on top of a smear of mashed potatoes and covered in beef gravy. The sweet potatoes have so much cinnamon that they are powdery. These are also canned potatoes doctored up.
The Mac and cheese is really good.
Fried wings are a nice size, a little tough, and the seasoning burned in the frying oil. overall disappointed. I wanted to try it. I did. I'm sure everyone else will enjoy it.

10/10 SO GOOD! Cheese grits are amazing. Collard greens are out of this world and seasoned so well with a little bit of heat. We've tried several different meals and each time we're so satisfied. Excellent food!
