I have just moved to Southport and I'm always looking for the best local spots. I ordered the BBQ Pulled Pork Sandwich with collards and I added Mac & Cheese, and Banana Pudding It arrived hot and ready to eat. Packaging was great but most importantly the food was delicious. The only thing I might suggest is cooking your collards in chicken stock with a ham hock to add flavor, other than that it was really delicious. You cannot beat the value of this meal. Their portions are big, their options for bbq sauce are a welcome change and the bbq pork is tender and authentic. Smokehouse is a definite must try for our tourists and our new locals. Amazing food!!!! We loved it!! Everything was wonderful. Chicken Wing Plate, Brisket Sandwich, collard greens and banana pudding!! Huge portions. Wonderful flavor. Freshly cooked.

The Pulled Pork Sandwich was so dry I literally choked on it. Had no flavor. The Kids Chicken Tenders I get it, its for a kid but only 2 tenders is kinda wild for the price. Potatoe salad was gross, the Potatoes were still raw and crunchy. Mac and cheese was also very bland.

Choice of 2 meats was AMAZING! I chose chicken breast and smoked sausage and it was unbelievable and super moist. their sauces are homemade and absolutely delicious !  i'm actually on a diet, but we had to eat those hush puppies oh my goodness !

First time in a while having brisket that was actually tender and not dried out. It was excellent! Sauces were delicious. Slaw was good. Potato Salad was good. Banana Pudding was good and didn't taste like fake banana. Brunswick stew could use a little more flavor. Overall a very tasty experience!
