• 5/21/25Solid takeout Detroit-style pizza. My husband got The Big Von and found it fresh with well-seasoned pepperoni and sausage. I did the create your own pizza with vodka sauce and loved the sauce. The only con was the pizza is a bit more greasy than I desire. One pie can definitely feed 2 people!

• 8/2/26So I'm not sure why in the world this is the #1 ranked pizza on here as of now. Maybe it's all the corporate expense accounts and convention warriors. This is mid-tier at best. Don't get me wrong, the dough and the cook quality are excellent. But the rest is...meh. I ordered a sausage, pepperoni, mushroom, tomato combo.The sauce was too light and lacked flavor, the pepperoni was barely quasi "cupping", lacked flavor, and was just salty. The sausage was pre cooked! Was also bland and was cut into squares like a friggin Totino's frozen pizza. And the tomatoes were basically 5 cherry tomatoes cut in half.
So yea, the portion size for the price is quite good, and they know how to cook it right, but the flavor is just not very good. There are much better (albeit more expensive) options for this style of pizza in the city.

• 8/14/23This pizza was EXCELLENT! So glad I deleted my first order at another place and tried this. The crust was crispy, the toppings plentiful and the cheese, oh my. I got a build your own for two. Tax tip and fees it was $30 and we are both stuffed. Really good!

• 11/20/25Awesome pizza, visiting from Canada for a week and ordered twice, love it!!! We need this place in Canada. Had the spicy pepperoni and the hawaiian both were delicious, clearly quality ingredients. Awesome!

• 4/2/26I haven't had Detroit style pizza since I developed my wheat allergy and the gluten free crust tasted just like regular! Great portion size, great value, so delicious! I will order it again next time I'm in San Fran!
