The steak meat tastes "beefier" than other fast food hamburger meat, and the double burger is good as a thick single burger costing 50% to 75% more in upscale restaurants. Always nicely assembled with real lettuce leaves, not shreds, and sweet onion, not strong. The beef tallow fries taste great and the Coke products is always strong enough, never weak.

The food was absolutely delicious!!! The burger was cooked 2 perfection & it was made just as I ordered it!! The fries were the bomb, a lotta cheese & chili. Steak n Shake never disappoints that's 4 sure!!!

The Original Double Steak burger with cheese was great. Exactly what a burger should taste like. The onion rings were also terrific. This is now my standard which other burgers will be judged by, and my go-to when

idk who made my burger but man it was so pretty looking and yummy not like some place where they smash ur burger *cough* Fries was hella salty though but my shake mellowed it out 9/10!
