this was my first time ordering from this restaurant and most definitely not my last! The dumplings were the best I've had in a LONG time and everything about the bao buns was delicious - tender and perfectly seasoned meat!

The first time we tried Steam Boys was 01/2024 and did not enjoy it much. However, after ordering yesterday and AGAIN today (11/30/25), we absolutely enjoyed our meal. Our food was served hot, the meat is tender, the broth flavorful, and the noodles have a really nice texture. The vegetation in both the Beef Noodle Soup 牛肉面 and the Zha Jiang Noodles 炸酱面 were fresh and crisp. Both are served at a good portion, though I personally wish it were bigger. More broth is provided than needed for the soup, but I added the remainder to my Zha Jiang Noodles 炸酱面 and it tastes AMAZING! My husband and I love the food so far and look forward to trying other dishes from Steam Boys!

I absolutely LOVED the Taro Milk Tea!! It was so smooth in taste, and the boba added a nice occasional surprise! The cup was also big enough for the meal and tasted like it was just made! I would 100% get this again!

Beef Noodle Soup 牛肉面 sopa de carne was the #1 preferred item on the menu and sounded alright, but was very disappointing. The noodles and broth were almost flavorless, and the beef in question was heart, a very cheap and not very flavorful meat. I also ordered it at a mild spice level, so what I had was a mildly spicy bowl of otherwise flavorless broth and noods. The dumplings, at #2 on the menu, were okay at best. I can't put my finger on exactly what the problem was, but it's like the breading and stuffing just didn't match up, and soy sauce did not save it. Certainly not worth the price of $11.50 for them.

Pleasantly surprised with how good the Beef Noodle Soup 牛肉面 sopa de carne is! Very filling portion. The Seared Pork Bao 猪肉煎包 cerdo chamuscado were also delicious and very filling. If you want to try a new boba do youreself the favor and get the Taro Milk Tea. It's changed my mind on boba.
