I placed an order for the rice meal Rice Meal Combo (Mixed Meat/Beef). It was super delicious and well prepared! Best Jollof ive tasted in LA so far .

I was looking forward to eating African food, but I was very disappointed with this restaurant. I ordered the rice mea combo with mixed meat. And received rice, some small plantain bites, and FAT. One giant slab of fat, a bone full of fat, and a small thumb size of beef. Very sad... I wish I could but I wouldn't recommend. )

Portion was very small and dry with no "stew" and not much flavor. Very inconsistent because the last time I ordered the same food from them it was perfect. If it had been like this I wouldn't have ordered again. (Photo on the right is from previous order and photo on the left from today)

I actually used to like this place for the Egousi Soup, but got it on 08/20 and too much oil, the soup wasn't thick (it was too liquid) and the portion size was cut in half. Never again

I wanted to try this place, and im very disappointed. The chcken tastes okay but thats the only part of these three things I ordered that was done okay. The "jollof rice" is NOT jollof rice nor does it look like the picture. It tastes like a badly done Mexican red rice or rice tossed around in spices to make it look red. The plantain is so hard and tasteless it feels like even if it's brown it wasnt cooked all the way through. The veg tasted good though but this was a waste of money unfortunately.
