Food was OK. Portion size was a little small compared to all other Hawaiian BBQ places. prices were good compaired to others. Chicken could have been a little more tender. Food was not bad overall but you will see room for improvement if you are used to getting Hawaiian BBQ from other places. Macaroni was very good.

Loco Moco is a solid, delicious choice. Just enough gravy, well cooked fried eggs, cabbage and carrots under the beef patties, side of rice and macaroni salad. 2 Piece Spam Musubi has a hefty chunk of rice, and just the right size of sliced spam with teriyaki sauce. 10/10.

Ordered the Loco Moco so I could get my fix. I was inpatient and didn't want to wait for Da #1 to open and I kind of regret it. The gravy was really good, thick with a touch of sweetness which I love but the rest was just not up to par for my standards. The hamburger patties were overcooked and dry (I'm glad I asked for extra gravy because I needed it). The patties are also placed over cabbage which I didn't like. At the other restaurant they put the patties over rice plus the scoops they give you. I normally don't order the macaroni salad as I prefer more rice but I forgot to ask for that today. In my opinion the way the eggs are prepared is an important element of this dish. When you order they don't ask how you want them cooked which should have been a red flag. What I got was 2 over fried eggs, no yolk I could bust open over my patties, rice and gravy which was a major disappointment. Needless to say I was not as satisfied as I would have liked. Portion size was ok but like I said I'd rather rice underneath my patties instead of cabbage. Freshness was lacking because of the extremely overcooked patties and worst eggs I think I have ever had. I don't think I'll be ordering from here again, I'll just wait for my other spot to be open and not jump the gun because I'm starving. Also why I forgot to take pictures..I was just so hungry.

The 2 Piece Spam Musubi was shockingly and absolutely disgusting. They put minced garlic or something nasty-tasting in it. I was very disappointed....and didn't think you could ruin such a simple dish.
The Chicken Combo was OK. I hate the texture of the rice.
Won't order from here again.
