• 7/18/22Fresh fish and a nice portion too for the roll. Tempura was a bit oily but I can't be too picky for delivery. Overall very satisfied

• 10/18/21Food was very overpriced and the quality was mediocre at best. "You shook me all night" and "light my fire" only had 8 small pieces, definitely not worth $17 each. The meat in the steamed buns was tough and dry as well. Would not recommend.

• 1/23/26Spicy "Crunch" had no crunch at all. It was actually mushy. Shrimp fried rice was bland and the shrimps were the size of a dime.

• 11/13/22We used to LOVE Sushi Rock but the food isn't quite as good as it used to be. I've ordered the light my fire roll at least a dozen times in the past and loved it but it was underwhelming this time. The nigiri was all lovely though - very fresh and tasty. The tempura was too heavily breaded - could hardly taste the veggies for all the breading and oil. The fried rice was fine, though kind of bland. Not the best I've had but also not the worst. I was also disappointed that they use packets of wasabi instead of fresh. It really didn't taste right and for their price point I was surprised. We order from less expensive sushi places that use fresh wasabi. They also included an ingredient in a roll that wasn't listed on the menu. One of our party is allergic to cucumber (not deathly, but uncomfortably enough that she avoids it) and we used to write "no cucumber, please" as a special instruction on all her rolls just to sure. They took away that ability so she ordered mostly nigiri and one simple ("classic") roll that didn't list cucumber. Sadly it came with cucumber so she couldn't eat it. I think we will probably order our sushi elsewhere unless and until they allow ingredient notes like that. I understand not accepting adding new ingredients or making major changes but if you're going to not allow special instructions you should at least accurately list all the ingredients and allow your customer to check any that they want left out.
