The red velvet cake was super freshly made and delicious but imo the slice was a bit on the small side. especially for $10 a slice. The carrot cake is also delicious. i think maybe ive had better. but still really good maybe slightly too sweet. But the portion of this slice was great. it was much bigger than the red velvet slice. The carrot cake slice size was more worthy of $10.

4 Box Cupcake Assortment was a bit pricy but 3 of 4 of them were fantastic.The Red Velvet cupcake was perfect with cloud like cream cheese icing and super moist cake. The special pineapple upside down cupcake was very heavy with heavy icing.The flavor was decent but not worth the heaviness. The strawberry and lemon cupcakes were really good!

Buttercreams were as great as I remember only the vanilla cake was a bit dense, crumbly and dry this time :( the chocolate was verrrrry delicious, very soft.

The vanilla cake at the Marina store in SF is so soft and fresh (also in Redondo/MB). The Pasadena store is dry and hard. They need to have the Marina teach them how to keep the vanilla as fresh as the chocolate. It's also a ridiculous amount of super sweet frosting. I don't remember it being so overly sweet like a heart attack in SF. Again I think it's a freshness issue. Sorry. Not lovin it.
