I love this restaurant! The food is great and the staff is very friendly and attentive. They aim to please and we have had many of their dishes and they are fresh and flavorful. My son and I had the fried whole fish and it was excellent.

Chicken Fried Rice was good nice and warm tasted fresh. Their Fried Dumplings (6 Pcs) are the best around packed full of meat and the dipping sauce is so flavorful. Egg Roll (2 Pcs) were packed well and fried to perfection so yummy. Large portions and well worth the money. I've eaten here for years and the quality is never lacking.

I appreciate that Szechuan Garden makes its own food, meaning they don't have it delivered in from a company like Sysco. Lots of restaurants in this area are glorified microwavers. T
That said, the prices are steep and the food portions aren't any bigger than the discount chinese places we've all had a million times. The Bar B-Q Roast Pork was maybe 5 oz of meat for $14.
Good. Better than the average joint. But $14? No.
The Sweet and Sour Chicken is exactly the same as any other Chinese place, but it costs almost $24. I will say their sweet and sour sauce is excellent (has veggies in it, very rich, not thin). About $8 more than average.
The Singapore Noodle is the same quantity as at other places, with a little more protein. Does that justify the $26 price tag? This is about $10 more than normal.
All in all, it's great food. I appreciate and understand that it's not easy to be a restaurant in this area with a sit-down location that makes its own food from scratch. If the cost is no issue, the slight but noticeable improvements might be worth it to you. For me, they are not.

The Peking Peking Duck (Half) was still a bit crispy, the sauce was great. I have never had the Pu Pu Platter it was mostly hot, the ribs were great, the ragoons were fried hard, so the filling was a little harder to locate. The shrimp were med size and it was all very tasty. Combination Lo Mein was a really good! huge chunks of meat, noodles cooked perfectly. Egg Roll (2 Pcs) were good and decently sized. Spring Roll (2 Pcs) were yummy as well. Everything tasted great. The portions were ample size. It tasted fresh I will definitely order these items again

I have been trying to find a place that makes good general tso's chicken. I took a bite and was like finally. Then as I ate in it was almost all filler. Not much chicken at all. And I was left extremely disappointed AGAIN! If you are going to charge the prices of the expensive protein then at least provide the actual protein.
