The best Western-style Chinese food. I said it, I mean it. I no longer live in Edmonton, but nowhere else has anything near as good. I've been eating here for 24 years and it has always been the best. Every place I've tried since is a pale imitation. If I have the option it'll always be Szechuan Village. Their hot and sour soup is the best version of it. Their kung poa chicken is so dang good. And their chicken balls aren't just a sliver of chicken meat inside a giant deep fried Timbit. They actually care and it shows. This go around I was staying in a hotel and the amount of food with the dinner for two lasted me the 4 days I was here. And for the price, compared to pretty much any other option on door dash, I was left feeling like I got ripped off. More just constant praise over how much I got for what I paid and how long it was lasting. The food microwaves pretty good too. Chicken balls, if you have an air fryer warm up best in that, but they aren't horrible reheated elsewhere.
