I've been a vegetarian for about 20 years so a place like Taco Cabana was never on the list of restaurants I considered if ever I wanted to eat out. However since they began offering Beyond Meat as an ingredient for three offerings (crispy tacos, cabana bowl, nachos) I've ordered several times over the past couple of months. These items are pretty straight forward but pretty tasty and affordable; I prefer the taco bowl the most!

I normally love this place but todays order was very disappointing. The Carne Asada Street Tacos were chewy and tasteless. The side of Flour Tortillas were chewy and hard. The chips for the Large Chips & Queso were very stale but at least the queso was good.

With bean and Bean & Cheese Taco Combo didn't get the chips, Cabana Bowl® with Crispy Shell where very dry and nothing came with only meat and beans the hot New! Cheetos Flamin' Hot Rojo Loaded Fries only had cheese on the fries, and the order of Nachos only had queso and meat in the middle soggy by time we got order.

The enchiladas are alway good. Delicious queso. I tried Nachos for the 1st time and the sour cream & guacamole were missing.
Our Sopapillas have no honey.
