I grew up in Southern California and lived there for the large majority of my life. My family quickly learned that what people referred to as "good"/"authentic" Mexican food in the Roanoke area often was not up to our standards and always left us feeling disappointed. We found Tacos Coronado on our own when they opened after a years of living/searching in the area and tried their Carne Asada Tacos and felt like we were FINALLY getting a taste of home. We have tried many things on their menu since then, and all of them have been wonderful. The food tastes fresh, portion sizes are good, and the flavor is delicious. My family goes back again and again, and the staff has always treated us like their own family. They know us by name and remember our orders, and always show us such kindness. We have recommended this small business to many of our friends in the area, and will be happy to support them for many more years.

Probably the best California Burrito I've ever had. So much food for such a low cost - fresh, flavorful. Best Mexican spot we have around, genuinely.

Their was more fries in the California Burrito then anything else and the Fries tasted old and burnt would not buy again
